Dr. Paat ‘78 Expanding UT Community Care Free Clinics
Posted on 04/16/2020
The Community Care Free Medical Clinic has been providing health care to 4,000 residents of the Toledo region for the past 10 years.  CCFMC is run by Dr. Richard Paat and the students of the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences including Executive Director Mark Lewandowski and Director of Administration Chanell Upshaw.

Partnering with Cedar Creek Church, we will be doubling our free clinics during the COVID 19 pandemic to assist the increased number of unemployed and uninsured in the Toledo area.

Here is our new schedule:

Cedar Creek Church West Toledo
2600 W. Sylvania Ave.
Every Tuesday from 5:30 - 9 p.m.

Cedar Creek Church South Toledo
2150 S. Byrne Rd.
Thursday from 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

All patients registered within the 1st two hours of each clinic will be seen.

In addition,  CCFMC will continue working with St. John’s Jesuit, St. Ursula Academy, and Catholic Charities to provide free medical care to the low income and homeless through the Labre Street Clinic every Monday evening:

5:30-6:30 p.m. at the sidewalk in front of 343 Western

6:30-7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of St. Louis Helping Hands, 443 Sixth Street.
A permanent hand washing station will also be set up there.

All of the medical care and free medications are provided by volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists, translators, and church personnel. In addition, the newly minted medical doctors from the University of Toledo College of Medicine will also be providing their services. To protect the staff, full personal protective equipment will be worn. We ask that patients bring their medication bottles, wear face masks, and maintain social distancing.
