NEW!! Jewelry Making, June 12-June 16:

You will learn the art of chainmail in the summer camp!
Throughout the week, gain experience making bracelets of various weaves using chainmail jump rings.
Take a look at Google images of the following weaves: European 4-1, Byzantine, Half Persian 3-1, and Japanese 12-2!

Archery, June 12-June 15: We’re targeting fun with this camp! 

Campers in grades 5 through 9 will learn to use a bow and arrow and the fundamentals of archery.

  • Must be able to give a full pull on a compound bow

Build your Own Arcade Control, June 12-June 16:  

Build your knowledge and your own old time video arcade controller. Perfect for guys who live video games. Even take your control home with you once the camp is finished. Tools and supplies provided.

Fishing, June 12-June 15: Relax and enjoy some fishing, a summer favorite. Fish at various locations in Perrysburg and Swanton.

  • Cost is $80

Lego Robotics I, Four Sessions offered June 12-June 16 (AM & PM)is full, 

June 19–June 23 (AM & PM): 

This camp is an introduction to building and programming robots using the LEGO Mindstorms NXT Robotics System. Students will practice construction and programming with the NXT intelligent brick with servo style motors and ultrasonic sensor. In pairs, students build robots and program them with a computer to move, react, and make sounds in order to solve challenges. This camp is good practice for those interested in robotics competitions such as FIRST LEGO League. Previous NXT experience is fine. Beginners, you are welcome, too.

Adventure, June 19-June 22 (Grades 5-7) and June 26-June 29 (Grades 7-9): Go to the extreme with this camp! Go on a different adventure outing each day. Good times and great thrills will be had! The camp involves day trips only to destinations within Ohio and Michigan. Transportation provided.

  • Adventures through the week may include four of the following:Cost per student is $175

    • Sky Zone Jump Park
  • Cost will cover everything but food and drinks
  • Start times vary from 8:00-9:00 and end times vary from 12:30-3:30. An exact itinerary will be provided in May.

NEW!! Fun with German, June 26-June 30: Learn basic vocabulary: animals, numbers, days of the week, etc. Sing songs and watch music videos. Leave with the ability to tell simple stories in German!

Read and act out scenes from Shakespeare’s play!
Work with Shakespeare’s language and watch clips from plays and films! All in preparation for a performance of scenes on the last day of camp!

NEW!! Geocaching, Two Sessions Offered; June 26-June 29 (AM) and July 10-July 13 (PM):

Geocaching is a real world, outdoor treasure hunting game!
Campers will try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using hand held GPS units. You will meet at different locations each day. All sites are within 12 miles of St. John’s Jesuit.

Science Enrichment, June 26-June 30

Hands on lab work defines this fun filled science enrichment camp. The Egg Drop Challenge, water rocket and more will keep the kids busy learning and having fun throughout the week.

Learn to research and argue the most important issues in current events both within the United States and around the world. Compete against other students in practice debates and get a jumpstart on the different debate activities offered at the high school.

An introduction to computer programming through cryptography and code breaking. Fool your parents with encoded messages and learn about the history of cryptography as a spy from World War II.

Experience new board games each day for some competitive fun!

Marching Band, July 24-July 28

Come be a Marching Titan for a week! Students will be introduced to the basics of marching band. They'll have an opportunity to perform alongside current Marching Titans.
Our HS officers will lead music and marching sectionals..
They will help teach our middle school performers a marching show similar to the high schools!
Performance on Friday will be followed by an ice cream social held by our Band Boosters!

  • July 24th-27th from 9:00-12:00
