Financial Aid Process for the High School Freshmen

  • Complete the FACTS Grant and Financial Aid Application
    • FACTS charges a $30 processing fee to complete the application
  • Key Dates:
    • Early Application Process for new students (Award will be sent at the end of January with acceptance letter):
      • November 1-December 31
      • Previous year’s tax return
      • Previous year’s W-2
    • Traditional Application Process for new students (Awards will be sent as they are completed):
      • January 1-February 28
      • Previous year’s tax return
      • Previous year’s W-2
    • Returning Application Process (Awards will be sent as they are completed):
      • March 1-April 15
      • Current year’s tax return
      • Current year’s W-2
  • High School Merit Scholarships Available for incoming freshmen-Fall of 2018:
    • 96th-99th Percentile         $3,000 per year              $12,000 over four years
    • 90th-95th Percentile         $1,500 per year              $6,000 over four years
    • 80th-89th Percentile         $500 per year                 $2,000 over four years
    • 75th-79th Percentile         $250 per year                 $1,000 over four years
      • *Test score is based off National Percentile
      • *Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and their discipline record must be in good standing to maintain scholarship
  • Outside Scholarships:

Below are the payment options and how assistance is determined:

  • There are two payment options:
    • Annual payment of tuition and fees due July 1st
    • Monthly payment of tuition and fees over a 10-month period
      • Monthly plan is set up through FACTS
      • There is a $150 payment plan fee
      • Payments begin in July
  • How assistance is determined:
    • Recommendations from FACTS are reviewed by a committee who determine the final award amount based on the families need
    • It is important to remember that assistance is limited and that it is critical to complete the FACTS application on the recommended due dates
